1 By using and booking through this website
with MALTA EXCURSIONS (referred to as “we” or “us”) you will be accepting these
booking conditions on behalf of yourself and all other persons using our
services pursuant to a booking made by you.
2 Excursions are operated all year round but
some are subject to weather conditions and, in some cases, having a minimum
number of clients on the excursion due to local feasts, public holidays and
national festivities some excursions might not be able to be operated. In such situations we shall notify you when
booking.
3 If a client wishes to cancel or amend a
booking this is to be done online through this website. You are advised to read the description of
the tour for special conditions regarding cancellation and/or amendment. If cancellation/amendment is made on line
with our conditions you will be fully reimbursed the value of the booking.
Although it is not normal, we reserve the
right to alter and change the routing or otherwise amend any part of the
proposed tour due to unforeseen circumstances.
We shall not incur any liability towards you where such alteration is a result of circumstances beyond our control such as strikes, weather conditions, riots, etc. Notwithstanding anything contained at law any liability we may have for any claim whatsoever is limited to the refund of the price of the excursion ticket.
4 All prices are subject to change without
notice. However any bookings taken and
confirmed will be honoured at the prices paid. Our prices are not subject to any extras apart
from those indicated in the tours description.
All prices are inclusive of local taxes. However the prices do not include any
gratuities for guides and drivers.
5 Full payment by credit card on line is to
be made for booking to be confirmed. We
accept the following cards: Visa and Master card. Once booking is confirmed you will have access
to print a voucher for each tour you book covering all persons on each
tour. Please make sure to bring this
voucher with you to Malta and present it on boarding our coaches. No person shall be entitled to take a tour if
a relevant voucher is not presented.
6 Pick up location and timings as shown on
this website would also be displayed on your voucher. However it is recommended that at least 24
hours before the tour you call our office on 2577 1480 to confirm pick up
details.
7 If on the day of the booked excursion
clients do not present themselves as indicated on the voucher this will be
considered as a no-show and no refund would be applicable. No refund is given in case a person is not
allowed to join a tour for reasons listed in these terms and conditions.
8 The company shall not be liable for any
injury, damage, loss, illness, delay or expense caused to the client unless
this is a result from the proven negligence or deliberate action or omission of
the company or its employees. In any
event the company’s liability shall in all cases be limited to the sums paid by
the client and excludes all indirect or consequential loss or claim of whatever
nature.
The company relies totally on its suppliers for correct information and whilst all details are given in good faith, the company cannot accept responsibility for any inaccuracies. Subcontractors may be engaged on behalf of the client.
Malta Excursions are operators of land tours but subcontract other suppliers to provide ancillary services. Our responsibility and liability is restricted to the services provided directly by Malta Excursions but full assistance will be given in the event of incidents resulting from services provided by third parties.
9 In the unlikely event that you feel there
are aspects about which you wish to complain, your complain should be made immediately
to your guide on tour. This would allow us to verify and assess the possible
causes of your complaint and would give us the opportunity to resolve the
matter in resort. If the grievance
refers to your guide’s services then you are requested to call our office on
the following day to discuss details in
confidence on telephone number 2577 1480.
