Tours Department is a specialized section within SMS TOURISM which has been organizing local tours since 1966, when the first tours started to be operated by SMS. In the very beginning, the department started off with the complement of only 2 freelance guides; however in the 1970’s, when there was a tourism boom in the demand for local tours by travellers exploded,the company immediately realized the potential of sightseeing tours and employed the two guides on full time. That was the start of what today is a much bigger operation.
